Movement Meditation is a practice in giving our bodies permission to be guided by the music, using our intuition. Like any meditation, the mind tends to quieten down and movement / dance is a very effective way of helping it do so.

Format: 1.5 hours, starting gently and gradually, we move through two “waves” of rhythmic sounds. Our body’s movement is the meditation. Music is our guide. Benji holds the space and weaves together the music, with some gentle guiding words of encouragement, to allow our bodies to be taken on a journey.

There is no prior experience required; no expectations; it’s a simple yet often deep and magical experience. It’s a drug and alcohol free space. All are welcome.

Music: takes the form of two “waves”, with the rhythms waxing and waning in relation to the five elements. Music genres are varied and include eclectic sounds from many cultures; electronic to organic, ancient to futuristic.
